By metro

The Sagrada Familia station (lines L2 and L5) exits onto Carrer de Mallorca and Plaça de la Sagrada Familia, a 1 minute walk to the entrance. From the city centre at Catalunya, take L1 to Diagonal then L5, around 15 minutes total. From the beach at Barceloneta, take L4 to Verdaguer then walk 5 minutes.

By bus and Hop-On Hop-Off

City buses H10, 19, 33, 34 and V21 stop within 200 metres. The Hop-On Hop-Off blue route stops directly outside, useful if your hotel is near the seafront or Montjuic. A 24 hour bus ticket is around 33 euros.

By taxi or rideshare

A taxi from the Gothic Quarter or Las Ramblas costs 9 to 13 euros and takes 10 to 15 minutes. From the airport (T1 or T2) it is roughly 35 euros and 25 to 35 minutes. Drop-off is on Carrer de la Marina.

On foot

From right Eixample hotels you walk in 2 to 8 minutes. From Passeig de Gracia (Casa Batllo area) it is a flat 20 minute walk east along Carrer de Mallorca, passing Casa Mila on the way.

Skip the transfer entirely

Several guided tours include hotel pickup, so you skip the metro and the ticket queue in one booking. This is the easiest option if you are staying outside the Eixample.
